38 Pages
2017, Vol.16 1 1-38 (38 pages)
We examined helpful and unhelpful messages that 35 Korean women with breast cancer commonly received. Messages providing optimism were the most frequently received type; the majority of the interviewees wanted to receive more of that type. Interviewees considered minimization of disease extent or impact helpful. Another finding unique to Korean culture is that family members express their share of responsibility for, and guilt feelings about, the interviewees being afflicted with breast cancer.... -

43 Pages
2014, Vol.11 3 75-117 (43 pages)
There have been many studies dealing with the relationships between selfperceptions and the perceptions of advertising. However, research that focused specifically on diet advertising, which has recently seen a dramatic increase in our society, has been scarce. One can assume that people’s perceptions of diet advertising may be influenced by how they think about their own bodies or by the extent to which they compare their own bodies with those of others. For a more comprehensive understanding... -

The first relates to the sustainability of the conservative disposition and the second... -

4 71-93 (23 pages)
The romantic ideology of Jean-Jacques Rousseau (1712 ~ 1778) firstly is a summary of his personal life experience, also the quintessence of his time spirit; moreover, it makes an outstanding contribution to the Enlightenment as well as the process of modernization theory. On one hand, it fills the deficiency of mainstream ideology of Enlightenment which is no longer confined to the rational and scientific knowledge; conversely, it strengthens the power of perception especially in art and... -

The 'endangerment' discourse relevant to human and non-human others, is called into question, particularly in relation to the current global pandemic... -
