Discriminatory experiences of international students in South Korea

discriminatory perceptions of exclusion, different treatments based on nationality, lack of cultural knowledge, stereotype, and English language ability. Drawing from the findings, the study concludes that discriminatory experiences of international students are more status-based rather than country of origin based in a context of South Korea. It suggests that discrimination as segregation exists, and therefore, it is desirable to consider this issue into relevant policies and practices. -

was consistently lower than the perceived importance of clinical biology among nurses. The structure and proliferation of novel viruses ranked highest in the educational needs of nurses based on both the Borich Needs Assessment Model and Locus for Focus Model. Conclusion: Based on the findings, this study suggests educational opportunities for clinical microbiology in hospital settings to reduce discrepancies between knowledge and the importance of clinical microbiology faced by nurses. -

reliability of the execution speed (intraclass correlation coefficient; ICC) was .71–.94, functional rating (kappa) was 1.0, and task analysis (ICC) was 1.0. The inter-rater reliability of the speed of execution was 1.0, functional rating was .79–1.0, and task analysis was .94–1.0. Conclusion : TEMPA has moderate to high level of reliability and is an assessment tool that can clearly distinguish individuals with upper extremity impairment from those without impairment
