This case study investigated the factors influencing the marital conflicts of couple experiencing a divorce crisis at a
communication breakdowns. In this case study, an integrated approach couple counseling was used such as
cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems theory of Bowen and Imago couple therapy. Integrated approach
couple counseling was conducted in a total of 12 sessions. To examine the effect of the integrated approach couple
counseling, it summarizes the course of treatment of a married couple, were examined for changes in the pre-post
marriage satisfaction and marital satisfaction. Result of integrated approach couple counseling, reduced dysfunctional
conflict, such as negative emotions and cynical attitude worse for the spouse, marital communication disconnection,
and one-sided communication.
