Between the World War I the inter-cultural moving and encounter began to be brisk. And after
the World War II this intercultural current was more visible. We can see this Phenomena of
interculturality actually in postwar german society. Only since last 20 years South Korea has
entered into a multicultural society, but in contrast to korean situation the german society was
dealing even before 1970s with the multicultural circumstances, not only with the socio-polical
and cutural (sociological) but also with the philosophical investigation. If we can see, how did
german government try to solve this muticultural problem and with which public policy and
pedagogical efforts has the german government attempted to unify the multi-society, this can be
useful to look clearly our korean multicultural situation, to analyse cultural stresses, which
children with another culture background suffer under and to support them. But this article is not
aimed to trivial compare the german and the korean multicultural political-pedagogical policies,
but to find with the pedagogical-philosophical inquiry the adequate pedagogically inter-cultural
method for our korean multicultural situation.
