The objective of the study is to verify the effect of FAT program on the improvement of self-efficacy and the reduction of job stress and depression. The program consisted of 12 sessions based on ‘Korean Dessert Program Applied with Food Art Therapy’ developed by Jung Yeon, Lee (2014), and the same pretest-posttest was designed to prove the effect of the program with a single group. Subjects of the study were 10 nursing teachers of day care centers located in M city of Jeollanam-do. The program was conducted for a month on June, 2014 by three food art therapy specialists and the pretest and the posttest were conducted before and after the program. Also, there were two further meetings every two month after the program was finished. After scoring collected data based on the scoring standard of each test, SPSS 21.0 program was used for the hypothesis testing, and Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test was applied as frequency analysis, reliability verification and non-parametric paired sample T-test. The results of the study are as follows. First, FAT program was found effective to reduce job stress and depression of nursing teachers. Second, FAT program did not show the meaningful change in the improvement of self-efficacy of nursing teachers. It was analyzed that the effect of the programs was not verified because the subjects of the study had relatively high self-efficacy. Third, as a result of two further meetings, the effect of FAT program was continued after the program was completed.
