The purpose of this study was to observe the meaningful impact of applying fusion education with other
subjects based on flipped Learning method on middle school students’ English academic achievement. To
validate this method, six classes of third graders were selected from a middle school in Dong-hae,
Gangwon-do, with each class made up of 15 students. Each class was divided into two groups that are
taking a class by a teacher chosen from the meeting of research on flipped learning. One group was taught
using flipped Learning method and the other group was taught using fusion education with other subjects
based on flipped learning method. After finishing the mid assessment achievement test and final assessment
achievement test, we analyzed the results using the student’s achievement test score. The groups that had
been taught using fusion education with other subjects based on flipped Learning method showed a
significant improved effect the English academic achievement. But the analyzing results using the t-test has
not been observed the meaningful impact between the group was taught using only flipped learning method
and the group was taught using fusion education with other subjects based on flipped learning method
except the difference of the score in the multiple choice quizzes.
