Foreign students are confronted with various problems such as new culture and environment when they
study abroad. This study investigates Chinese students who study in Korea; and emphasizes importance of
social identity, which is necessary for Chinese students to adapt to Korean society and achieve academic
goals. Social identity is accompanied by attachment and adaptation to the society. Thus, students with
