ln this study , we will clarify what kind of communication is used with the hearing impaired persons who always use sign language when they visit medical facilities , and what is necessary to the communication during the consultation Although there are many things that the deaf people request the hospitals such as treat the properly, detailed communication in writing, use of sign language by the medical staff, having in -hospital sign language interpreters, it is clear that they want them to understand the attribution of the deaf people and want to communicate in sign language when they visit the hospitals lt clarified that what they request the sign language interpreter system is to have 24 hour system (in emergency situations), to contact the sign language interpreters directly, and to have in-hospital sign language interpreters. They strongly request sign language interpreters and want them to have high skills This research clarified the necessities of the deaf people. ln the future, we would like to clarify the understanding for the hearing impairment in medical facilities , and how the sign language interpreters learn about the medical sign language
