Based on active participation of various educational agents, this study purports to design an
actionable and successful personality education program using SNS in elementary school. The
research questions to accomplish this goal are as follows. First, what are the instructional
strategies for the personality education using SNS through the participation of various education
agents in elementary school? Second, how should the personality education program using SNS
through the participation of various education agents in elementary school be designed in terms of
effectiveness, efficiency, attractiveness? On the basis of design-based research, various
methodologies were applied, including literature research, survey, interviews, and class
implementation. As a result of the systematic and repetitive modifications, a final version of the
personality education program utilizing SNS through the participation of diverse educational agents
was developed. It is necessary to continuously conduct research, customizing the personality
education program suitable for any grade level in elementary school. In addition, another follow-up
study would be fruitful if it develops adaptable instructional strategies fitted on any type of
participating educational agents.
