In modern popular music, the rhythm content is used in the form of using the existing rhythms in many
cases. It is a general practice for most composers and arrangers to use the rhythms that have been
complete and in broad uses in the market when writing a new song or arranging an old one in a different
form and method. A new approach is needed to the forms and creative methods of rhythms so that music
of more diverse and new sounds will be made. This study traced the principle and method of DJs making
rhythms with the computer according to the reverse engineering technique, applied them to the acoustic drum played by real people, and proposed rhythms that were made creatively and their technique. In
addition, a couple of methods were also proposed to create more creative and diverse rhythmic patterns
with the rhythm content based on the reverse engineering drum technique so that a new methodology of
arranging rhythms would be developed along with more advanced rhythm content for popular music.
