The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of early childhood teachers' participation
in leisure activity, job satisfaction, and teaching flow on the happiness of early childhood teachers.
For this purpose, 345 early childhood teachers were surveyed and analyzed by AMOS 21.0 program.
First, descriptive statistics of the subjects and correlational factors of the variables were analyzed and
the relationship between variables was analyzed by structural equation model. The results of this
study are as follows: First, participation in leisure activities directly affects job satisfaction, teaching
flow and happiness. Second, job satisfaction and teaching flow have an influence on mediating roles
in participation of leisure activities and happiness. Based on these results, it was clarified the
importance of participation of leisure activities of early childhood teachers as a way to increase the
happiness by increasing job satisfaction and teaching flow in early childhood education field, and to
provide policy support for early childhood teacher participation in leisure activities.
