The purpose of this study is developing and applying personality education via picture books, then finding satisfaction for this program. For this research, a standard of personality education has defined, picture books which are proper for this study were selected, and then the educational program was developed by experts. The goal of this program is helping pre-service early childhood teachers to cultivate proper personality which is required for early childhood teachers and developing ability to conduct the program to children in field. The program includes education of humanity, positive self-concept, and personality elements in social relationship. The teaching methods are consisted of 4 steps; Reading picture books, Researching and discussing personality elements in the picture books, Internalizing the personality elements which are shown in the books, and Applying them to real life. To assess this program, survey method was conducted after running the program with 20 pre-service early childhood teachers who are in their college course for 20 hours in 10 weeks. The result shows pre-service early childhood teachers score about 4.1 on a five-point scale on average. This study has suggested useful personality education not only for pre-service early childhood teachers but also for incumbent teachers and children which can be connected to children's family.
