본 연구는 어린이집에서 부모 자원봉사활동이 어떻게 운영되는지 실태를 파악하고 이에 대한 장애요 인 및 교사의 요구를 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 연구대상은 경기도 7개시에 위치한 어린이 집에서 재직 중인 교사 320명을 대상으로 하였고, 설문지 282부를 유효자료로 통계처리 하였다. 본 연 구의 결과는 첫째, 부모 자원봉사의 운영 실태에서 교사는 대다수가 자원봉사자의 도움을 받은 경험 이 있었으나 실습생이 가장 높은 비율을 차지하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 학부모 자원봉사자는 자 발적으로 참여하는 방식으로 운영된다고 조사되었다. 둘째, 부모 자원봉사활동에 대한 교사의 가치 인식은 부모 측면, 영유아 측면, 교사 및 기관 측면 순으로 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 부모 자원봉사활동 에 운영의 장애요인을 살펴본 결과 부모 측면에서는 맞벌이로 인한 시간적 어려움이 가장 높게 나타났 으며, 교사 및 기관 측면의 장애 요인은 프로그램 실시를 위한 교사의 시간 부족 등으로 조사되었다. 넷째, 부모 자원봉사에 대한 교사의 요구도를 살펴보면 특별행사지원에서 가장 높게 나타났고, 재능 기부, 수업지원 순으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the status of the management, obstructive factors, and teachers’ needs of parent’s participation as volunteers in day care center. The subjects of this study were 320 teachers who were working in a day care center, located in 7 cities Gyeonggi - do, and 282 questionnaires were statistically analyzed. The results of this study were as follows: First, in the status of the management of parent’s participation as volunteers, the majority of the teachers had experience of volunteer help, but the student teacher showed the highest rate. And the parent volunteers operate in a voluntary manner. Second, as a result of examining the obstacles to the management of parent’s participation as volunteers, the parents’ side showed the highest time difficulties due to double – income and the side of teachers and institutions were investigated by teachers’ lack of time for program implementation. Third, teachers’ value perception about parents participation as volunteers was in the order of parents, infants and children, teachers, and institutions. Fourth, teachers needs for parents participation as volunteers were highest in special event supports, followed by talent supports and teaching supports.
