The purposes of this study are to develop a structural model that explains employment outcomes
focus on self-efficacy, school environment, diversity of job preparation behavior, job satisfaction, and
wages, as well as, to examine the effects among these variables in undergraduates. To conduct the this
study, Korean Education and Employment Panel(KEEP, 2011 & 2014)were used. 180 undergraduates are
analyzed for this study. The major findings of this study are as follows: First, self-efficacy had significant
effect on diversity of job preparation behavior. Second, self-efficacy and school environment had significant
effects on job satisfaction. But, diversity of job preparation behavior had no significant effect on job
satisfaction. Third, self-efficacy and school environment had significant effect on wages. On the other
hands, school environment had no direct effect on wages but an indirect effect through diversity of job
preparation behavior. Based on these findings, in order to improve the quality of employment outcomes,
schools should develop the programs improving job preparation competency. Also, they should provide
various job preparation strategies to guide students through proper job preparation behaviors individually.
