Korea has been making institutional efforts since 2008 to implement long - term care insurance for the elderly in order to cope with the situation where the population with dementia is increasing. In addition to institutional arrangements such as the dementia national responsibility system, the more fundamental thing is to see what the general public perceives about dementia and to establish policy direction accordingly, There is a need to analyze articles on the internet portal site where the general public has the most information and influence. In this study, From the announcement of the plan to the present, We analyzed the contents related to dementia through network text analysis for Naver and Daum news, representative portal sites in Korea. The results were as follows: First, the keywords such as high frequency and connection center words(332times, 0.034), overcoming dementia(292 times, 0.026), dementia patients(195times, 0.026) The medical view of our society as a 'patient' that needs to be seen is strongly shown. Second, as a result of concor analysis, four factors were extracted as the set of nodes: 'local government efforts', 'national responsibility promotion', 'overcoming dementia', and 'medical benefits'. Today 's dementia reveals that the state has expanded into the realm of public responsibility to bear the burden. Finally, it suggests that institutional support should be considered together with the fundamental perception of the general public.
