During the rainy season, it rains a lot, rainfall is large, it is very much moisture, it is also the season
where discomfort index is the highest. The dehumidifier is an electronic product that is invented and used
in summer to remove moisture and create a pleasant environment. However, when the dehumidifier is
turned on, the components that are activated for dehumidification cause noise and heat, thus creating
another adverse effect. The function of the dehumidifier is that the radiator, the compressor, the motor and
the fan have to be operated inevitably. In addition, the noise caused by the structural environment and the cause of heat generation are also important factors for adverse effects. Research on noise reduction of
dehumidifiers has been steadily continued, but studies on the reduction of heat generated are in an
inadequate stage. This paper presents a method to use new additional sound to solve noise and heat
generation, which is a fatal defect of a dehumidifier. The use of additional sound to solve the drawbacks
of the dehumidifier was studied by borrowing sound reinforcement and offset principle, condition reflection
theory and placebo effect.
