With increasing number of students with disabilities in general education settings and emphasis of improving the quality of inclusive education program, the likelihood that the collaboration among school personnels are considered as an important factor for applying inclusive education successfully. Especially, the outcomes of inclusive education program strongly depend on the level of collaboration between special educators and regular educators who provided instruction with students with disabilities in the classroom. This study was to obtain information about collaborative models, such as collaborative consultation and co-teaching in inclusive education settings. The characteristics, benefits, barriers, and steps of two collaborative models were addressed. Implications for practices considering our education system were addressed to develop more appropriate collaborative models for including students with disabilities.
