본 연구는 치매노인 단기보호시설의 운영실태 및 활성화 방안을 모색하기 위하여 전국 10개 지역 치매노인 단기보호시설의 실무자 25명과이용자 가족 82명을 대상으로 운영 실태를 조사․분석하여 고찰한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 조사결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 실무자들은 서비스 측면에서 의료․재활서비스, 정서적 지원서비스, 일상생활 지원서비스는 충실히 운영되고 있었다. 하지만, 가족지원 프로그램과 치매 증상에 따른 개별화 서비스의 만족도는 상대적으로 낮은 것으로 분석되었고 이용자 서비스 만족도 측면에서는 전체적인 서비스에 대한 평균만족도는 대체로 높았지만, 의료서비스, 가족지원 서비스에 대한 만족도가 다른 항목에 비하여 상대적으로 낮은 것으로 분석되었다.
In order to examine management status and activation plans of short-stay facilities for the elderly with dementia, this study investigation and analyzed the management status with a survey on 25 employees of 10 short-stay facilities for the elderly with dementia and 82 family members of the users of the facilities. In result, the following conclusions were made. When the analysis results are summarized, they are as follows. The study looked into the services and the result showed that services such as medical․rehabilitation service, emotional support service and daily-life support service were managed properly but the satisfaction with the family support program and the personal service based on dementia level was low. And the general satisfaction of the users was high but the satisfaction with medical service and family support service was relatively lower than other services.
