본 연구는 초등학교 아동이 지각하는 부모양육태도와 자아개념, 진로의식성숙간의 관계를 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 연구는 양부모가 있는 초등학교 4, 5, 6학년 학생 499명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구 결과 성별에 따른 부모양육태도는 여학생이 모(母) 양육태도에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈으며 지역에 따른 부모양육태도는 읍․면 지역에서 자아개념과 진로의식성숙은 시 지역에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 학년에 따라서는 부모양육태도, 자아개념 및 진로의식성숙은 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다, 다음으로 부모양육태도 유형와 자아개념간에 그리고 부모양육태도와 진로의식성숙간에 높은 정적상관이 나타났다. 또한 부모양육태도가 자아개념과 진로의식성숙에 대해 유의한 예언변인이고 그 중 부(父) 양육태도보다 모(母) 양육태도가 높은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 바람직한 자아개념 형성 및 진로의식성숙을 위한 부모의 역할 및 진로교육에 대해 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to find out Relationship among children\'s Perception of Parenting Attitude, Self-Concept and Career Maturit. The subject for this study were 499 students in the 4rth, 5th and 6th grade at six elementary schools. The results are as follow. First, female students showed significant difference in parenting attitude compared to male students. For parenting attitude, students in myeon and town are significantly and career maturity, students in town are significantly. Second, there was close relation between self-concept and career maturity with respect to the type of parenting attitude. Third, it turned out parenting attitude is significant predictor of self-concept and career maturity. As a result, This research also suggest that it is necessary to develop a effective personality guidance and career education program to build career maturity by developing advisable self-concept, and this program should be fully used.
