이 연구는 다문화가족 대상 상담 업무 현황과 종사자의 교육요구에 대한 질적 연구를 통해 다문화 가족상담 인력 양성과정 개발의 방향성을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 5명의 다문화가족지원센터 상담업무 종사자들과의 포커스그룹 면접을 통해 자료를 수집하였으며, 수집한 자료는 Krueger(1998)의 지침에 따라 범주별로 내용분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, ‘다문화가족 대상 상담 업무 현황’과 ‘다문화 가족상담 인력의 교육 요구’의 두 개의 주제 아래 9개의 범주, 32개의 세부범주가 도출되었다. 연구결 과 및 선행연구들에 기초하여 다문화가족상담 인력 양성과정의 방향으로 다문화감수성 함양과 상담 실무에 필요한 교육내용, 실제사례와 실습 및 토론중심의 교육, 기타 운영상의 기준 등을 제안하였다.
The purpose of this study was to find the guidelines of the training curriculum for the multicultural family counselors by conducting a qualitative study on the current situation of multicultural family counseling service and the educational needs of the counselors. Methods: The study was conducted through a focus group interview on five counselors at multicultural family support centers. Collected data were analyzed by different categories, according to Krueger's guideline (1998). Results: The major findings were divided into the two themes: “The Current Situation of Counseling Service” and “The Educational Needs of the Counselors.” Under those themes were 9 categories and 32 sub-categories. Conclusions: Based on the study results, the paper suggests a few guidelines for the training program of multicultural family counselors.
