This research examines 385 J educational college female frechmen\'s habitual life and their thoughts on exercise and sports. The research obtains the following results.
1. Living Habits
1) Dwelling : Living together with their parents and/or family is the most common practice, which is followed by living in the dormitory. living by himself/herself in an apartment , lodging, bodging. There is a significant difference in residence types between entrance years(p<.05).
2) commuting : Buses and taxies are the most common commuting way , which is followed by walking , driving, riding a bicycle/motorcycle. There is a significant difference in commuting methods between entrance years (p<.05).
3) Smoking : High percentage (98.2%) of the female and enrolled female freshmen have never smoked.
4) Drinking Alcohol : High percentage (85.2%) of the female and enrolled female freshmen drink alcohol. There is a significant difference between entrance years in drinking alcohol. and female frechmen (2003) show significantly more frequency of drinking alcohol than the other female and enrolled female freshmen(p<.05).
5) Eating Breakfast: More than 40 percentage of the female freshmen don\'t eat breakfast.
2. Exercise & Sports
1) Partivipation: Only a small number of female freshmen participate in sports after entering college. Female freshmen (2004) and enfolled female freshmen(2003,2004) show a higher to participate in sports than female freshmen (2002, 2003) and enfolled freshmen (2002) . Interestingly , only 18.4% freshmen replied. \' I am satisfied with my current physical condition \'
2) Behavior Change : Female freshmen show a high percentage of movement from the preparation phases and contemplation phase. On the other hand action and maintenance phases show a low percentage.
3) Effects: They comment that regular exercise helps them lose weight, maintain physical health, increase interest and lessen stresses. Enrolled female freshmen show a little higher than female freshmen in a positive and negative phases.
4) Opinions and Behavioral Tendencies: Most female freshmen thingk that exercise and sports have a positive effect on their friends and family as well as their physical health. In addition exercise gives them confidence and help relieve tension.
