The method to help communication and linguistic development of early childhood language
acquisition is changing from the paper books to electronic books. This study tries to examine
how MeFOT is being utilized by the program to develop infants' abilities and how to apply
MeFOT to composition of fairy tales electronic books.
First, Power point is used as the development program and the models to utilize MeFOT-based
electronic books are arranged in order of book contents, and they look at covers of fairy tale
books, asking questions, talking about stories related to the tales, reading the tales, imagining
them, inventing stories and praising. At this moment, teachers can make infants participate in
learning actively by the participant guidance system whenever scenes are changed by composing
their expected questions and the contents which are required for them.
For the electronic books, spoken languages and written languages can be simultaneously
learned in early childhood and the electronic books can maximize the learning effect by
stimulating sight and hearing simultaneously and increase sensitivity by inserting animation and
sound in them. Also it probably helps infants' self-initiated learning is possible through
bidirectional learning between learners.
