본 연구의 목적은 교육실습일지의 자기평가란 분석을 통해 예비유치원 교사들이 교육실습 기간 동안 경험한 교육 유형이 무엇인지 알아보는 것이다. 연구방법은 교육실습생 16명이 교육실습 기간 동안 작성한 교육실습일지 중 자기평가 부분 291개와 실습 종료 후 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 실시한 자료를 바탕으로 분석을 실시하였다. 교육실습생의 교육경험이야기를 분석한 결과, 교수학습방법이 33%로 제일 높았으며, 두 번째로 교사아동상호작용이 9,3%, 세 번째로 건강영양안전 2.4%, 네 번째로 생활지도 6,6%, 다섯 번째 운영관리 10,3%, 여섯 번재 지도교사의 격려에 대한 감사 15,1%, 일곱 번째 자기반성 및 각오 22.3%, 여덞번째 기타 1%로 분류되었다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 교육실습생이 교육실습기간 중 경험한 교육의 유형이 무엇인지 파악하여 교육실습 전 교원양성대학에서 어떠한 내용으로 실습에 대비한 교육과정을 구성할지, 또한 기존 교육과정에 대한 반성과 더불어 앞으로 현장실무적인 능력을 함양 할 수 있는 교육과정 수립에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.
The study attempted categorizing educational experience types that pre-service teachers encounter while participating in teaching practicum session by analyzing self-reflection sections of their practicum journal writings. For this purpose, 16 pre-service participants conducted self-reflection sections of their practicum journals; these contents were analyzed by the authors using focus group interview(FGI), which was organized upon the completion of the practicum experience. The analysis results demonstrated that the pre-service participants’ educational experiences are categorized into the following five: 33% of teaching methods, 9.3% of teacher-child interaction, 2.4% of health and nutrition safety, 6.6% of child guidance, 10.3% of facility management, 15.1% of gratitude for guidance teachers’ encouragement, 22.3% of self-reflection and determination, and 1% of the others. These outcomes would be appropriately applied for teacher trainers to conduct educational programs before running teaching practicum in college settings. Also, the results of the study showed a series of methods to support pre-service teachers during the four-week-long practicum in order for them to grow as well-trained ` teachers.
