이 연구는 ‘2015년 전국 아동·청소년 인권실태 조사’자료를 이차 분석하였다. 연구대상자는 총 10,470 명의 실태조사 자료 중에서 중·고등학교에 재학 중인 7,412 명의 청소년을 분석하였다. 우리나라 청소년의 학교부적응과 정신건강의 문제는 사회적 이슈로 부각되고 있으며, 이에 대한 해결방안을 제시하기위하여 본 연구는 청소년의 학교적응에 영향을 미치는 주요변수로 알려져 있는 사회적 자본의 영향력을 중점으로 알아보았다. 더 나아가 사회자본, 정신건강 그리고 청소 년의 학교생활적응간의 직·간접적 관계가 분석되었으며, 통계방법으로 AMOS 20.0에 의해 요인 분석과 구조방정식이 실시되었다. 연구결과로는 청소년의 사회자본이 정신건강과 학교적응에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 정신건강이 사회적자본과 학교적응간의 매개적 역할을 하였다. 이에 따른 청소년의 학교생활 적응을 향상시키기 위한 실천적 제언을 하였다.
This study is a secondary analysis of the 2015 National Children and Youth Human Rights Survey . Of the total of 10,470 survey data, only 7,412 adolescents in junior high and high school were analyzed. The problem of school maladjustment and mental health of Korean adolescents is emerging as a social issue. To propose a soution this study focuses on the impact of social capital, which is known to be a major variable influencing adolescent school adaptation. Further this study examined the relationship between social capital, mental health and adolescent school adjustment. AMOS 20. was used to perform factor analysis and structural equations. The study results showed that the social capital had a significant influence on mental health and school adjustment. Mental health played a mediating role between social capital and school adjustment. Practical suggestions to improve adolescents’ adjustment to school life were made.
