Sleep deprivation has caused a decline in cognitive function, and therefore, it has been managed as a serious risk in various industries. In particular, since drowsiness driving in transportation is linked to fatal traffic accidents, various researches are actively conducted to prevent drowsiness driving, but there is a lack of effective solution proposals. Therefore, this experiment was conducted to investigate the change of driving performance after inducing an artificial complete sleep deprivation and to investigate the effects of each propensity and sedation on driving performance ability due to drowsiness. 20-40 and healthy male subjects were take part in this experiment. and The subject was measured the driving performance at 17:00. And the next day the driving performance at 5:00 in 12hours. After that natural flavor stimulation was presented. To verify the difference of driving performance, Pared T-test was used. As a result of the experiment of break reaction time between in normal sleep state and in lack of sleep state, break reaction time in normal sleep state was faster showing a significant difference(p<0.05). In the this study, it was found that there were individual differences in the ability of driving performance in the sleep deprived state. And in the previous study, it was found that the group suffering from chronic sleep deprivation had a limit in understanding the acute effects on sleep deprivation. The results of this experiment showed that the response time was significantly increased in the sleep deprivation state than in the normal sleep state.
