본 연구는 가정환경의 다양한 특성들이 유아기 아동의 건강관련 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위해 이루어졌다. 이를 위해 만 5세 유아 156명을 대상으로 그 보호자들에게 아동건강설문(CHQ-PF50)을 실시 하였으며, 가정의 사회경제적 특성, 가족구조적 특성, 가족관계적 특성이 아동의 전반적 건강, 행동건강, 정신건강 측면에 미치는 영향력에 대해 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 가족관계 변인은 전반적 건강과 행동건강 측면에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 조부모의 동거여부는 행동건강 측면에, 양친부모 여 부는 정신건강 측면에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과에 기반한 이론적 함의 및 유아기 가족을 대상으로 한 실천적 개입방안에 대해 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of family environmental characteristics on the health status of toddler aged children. The data was harvested from a survey which was conducted upon parents of five year old children, utilizing the Children Health Questionnaire - PF50. The effects of family socio-economic, structure, general relational factors, behavioral issues, and the mental health of children were analyzed. The results are as follows : The family relationship factors have significant effects on the both general and behavioral health status of children. Moreover, the variable of living together with one's grandparents influenced behavioral health status, and family structural factors impacted on the mental health status of children. From these results, it was possible to discern a number of theoretical and practical implications for social work practice which focuses on improving the health related quality of life of a toddler's family. These issues were also discussed.
