This study is conduced to obtain basic data to activate early childhood creativity education in childcare
and early childhood education by examining child care teachers’ perception of early childhood creativity
education and the actual conditions of early childhood creativity education in child care centers. To
this end, this study developed questionnaires, the study tool and collected data by targeting 173 teachers
in child care centers in Gyeonggi and Chuncheognam provinces, and the collected data were analyzed
through frequency analysis. Based on the findings about perception of early childhood creativity
education and the actual conditions, this study discussed the need of opportunities of pre-service teacher
education and in-service teacher education to expand knowledge and understanding about early childhood
creativity education.
