This study was implemented to provide information of required skills for transition from kindergarten into elementary school based on early childhood parents. Questionaries to know what the critical skills to transit from early childhood to enter elementary school were carried out 114 parents. The results of this study indicated that parents of children with disabilities put emphasis with the score of over 4.0 point on 57 items out of 60 items of skills for the transition to elementary school. Also, parents put emphasis on adaptive skills to school life, adaptive skills to daily life, and social interaction skills, whereas they did not put emphasis on the items of academic skills. This findings indicate that adaptive skills to daily life and social interaction skills are considered to be more important, while academic skills are not taken as an essential part during this period, as their children with disabilities are in the childhood. We need to prepare the proper curriculum based on adaptive skills to daily life and social interaction skills.
