본 연구는 장애노인의 생활만족도를 비교하기 위하여 대도시, 중소도시, 농촌지역으로 구분하여 영향요인들을 분석하였다. 분석대상자는 2008년 장애인실태조사의 65세 이상 장애노인 2,525명으로 지역별 분포는 대도시 29.3%, 중소도시 48.2%, 농촌지역 22.5%이었다. 장애노인의 생활만족도는 대도시 2.82, 중소도시 2.86, 농촌지역 2.93으로 지역에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 장애노인의 생활만족도 영향요인 비교를 위해 인구사회적 변인, 일상생활 체감 변 인 등을 독립변수로 다중회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 영향력을 기준으로 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대도시 장애노인의 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 문화ㆍ여가만족, 집구조의 편리성, 건강상 태, 성별, 배우자, 교통수단 이용의 어려움, 교육수준, 장애인 차별인식 순이었다. 둘째, 중소도시 장애 노인의 생활만족도 영향요인은 문화ㆍ여가만족, 건강상태, 집구조의 편리성, 성별, 경제활동상태, 장애 인 차별인식, 교육수준, 연령, 교통수단의 어려움, 장애등급, 배우자 유무 순이었다. 셋째, 농촌지역 장 애노인의 생활만족도 영향요인은 문화ㆍ여가만족, 건강상태, 장애인 차별인식, 집구조의 편리성, 경제 활동상태, 교통수단의 어려움, 연령 순으로 나타나 도시지역 장애노인보다 장애인의 차별인식정도가 상대적으로 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 이 같은 분석결과를 바탕으로 장애노인의 생활만족도 개선을 위해서는 문화 여가 관련 인프라의 구축, 집구조 개선 및 건강관련 서비스 등이 우선적으로 이루어져야 하는 것으로 나타났으며, 농어촌 지역의 경우에는 장애인에 대한 차별 개선이 시급한 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 도시규모가 클수록 남 자, 유배우자의 경우 상대적으로 생활만족도가 높은 반면, 농촌지역의 경우에는 고연령, 경제활동 참 여 등이 생활만족도를 증가시키는 요인으로 나타나 지역특성을 고려한 장애노인복지정책 프로그램들 이 요구되고 있다.
The main purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the factors influencing satisfaction of life(SOL) of the elderly with disability in major city, small and medium city and rural area. In this comparative studies we built multiple regresssion model and used 2008 survey data for disabled person in Korea. Independent varibles include socio-demographic and living experience realated variables. Dependent variables are composed of 7 satisfaction of life(Family-relations, Number of Friends, Housing environment, Health, Family's income, Leisure, global life satisfation). The major findings are as following; First, influencing factors on SOL of the elderly with disability are significant differences between three populations. Second, the factors influencing on SOL of the disabled elderly in major city are in order culture-leisure satisfaction, housing convenience, health status, sex, spouse, transportation, education, disability discrimination. Third, influencing factors on SOL in small and medium-sized city are in turn culture-leisure satisfaction, health status, housing convenience, sex, economic activities, education level, disability discrimination, age, transportation, disabled degree, and spouse. Third, the factors influencing on SOL of the elderly with disability in rural area are culture-leisure satisfaction, health status, disability discrimination, housing convenience, economic activities, transportation and age. In conclusion, we need the demand-oriented social policy that reflects on the satisfaction of life the elderly with handicap, they could enjoy the leisure, participate in economic activity and maintain good social relationships, which are suitable for their health and economic situation.
