본 연구는 일상생활동작 훈련실의 공간별 가구와 설비의 설치환경에 대한 실태를 조사한 것으로, 휠체어를 사용하는 지체장애인 중심으로 장애 환경을 분석하였다. 서울특별시 내의 작업치료를 실시하고 있는 30병상 이상의 병원 4개소의 일상생활동작 훈련실을 부엌 및 식당, 욕실 및 화장실, 침실, 거실의 네 공간으로 나누어 가구와 설비의 설치유무와 실측을 환경 평가지를 사용하여 조사하였다. 일상생활동작 훈련실 내의 각 공간은 단차가 없고, 활동공간이 넓게 확보되어 휠체어를 사용하는 지체장애인이에게 적합하였으나, 부엌작업대의 배치순서, 욕실 내 비상벨의 설치, 세면대의 하단 높이, 세면대의 거울 경사조절 가능여부, 각종 스위치와 콘센트의 높이, 인터폰의 유무 항목에서 부적합한 것으로 조사되었다. 지체장애인의 일상생활동작 훈련실 사용의 효율성과 접근성을 향상시키기 위해 설치환경의 부적합 항목에 대한 시정이 요구되며, 이와 관련된 법적 근거 마련이 필요하다. 앞으로의 연구에서는 일상생활동작 훈련실의 실제 이용자인 환자중심의 각 공간별 만족도와 개선 사항에 대한 연구가 필요하다.
This study was to survey the environment of installation and furnitures according to space of activity of daily living skill(ADL) training room and to analysis obstacle environment focused on the people with physical disability using wheelchair. The subjects were ADL rooms of 4 hospitals over 30 beds operating occupational therapy in Seoul. ADL rooms divided into 4 space, a kitchen and dining room, bath room and toilet, a bed room, a living room are examined by a evaluation sheet to measure the installation and furnitures. All of the ADL rooms are no threshold and ensure a wide working space that is suitable for the people with physical disability using wheelchair. But there are incongruent items that are an arranged sequence of the worktable of kitchen, an installing button for emergency,a height of the lower end of washing stand, a existence of a tilted mirror, a height of the switch and wall socket and a existence of the interphone. The environment of installation and furnitures are required to correct incongruent items to improve efficiency and accessibility for the ADL room for the people with physical disability using wheelchair. Legislation related an ADL room is necessary to accessibility for the people with physical disability using wheelchair. The later study demands satisfaction and need about the ADL room by actual user.
