This study is intended to investigate the effects of mental depression and ego-resilience in middle school girls\' school adaptability and to know the correlation between school adaptability and both mental depression and ego-resilience. Three hundred seventy six students in a girls\' middle school located in Busan replied on 3 questionnaires about ‘mental depression’, ‘ego-resilience’ and ‘school adaptability’. The study questions were as
follows : First, what is the correlation in middle school girls between both mental depression and ego-resilience and school adaptability? Second, what are the influences of mental depression and ego-resilience in the middle school girls\' school adaptability? Third, what is the correlation between both mental depression and ego-resilience and school adaptability in each middle school grade? Fourth, what are the influences of mental depression and
ego-resilience in each middle school grade students\' school adaptability? When examining the correlations between mental depression and school adaptability in middle school girls, this results in mental depression and school adaptability in middle school students have the correlation. Correlations appear after examining the relationship between them. When examining the correlations between ego-resilience and school adaptability in middle school
girls, this results in a correlation between ego-resilience and school adaptability in middle school students. This results in ego-resilience and school adaptability in middle school students have the correlation each other. Examining the correlations between them in the each school grade, there are correlations between them. When examining the influences of mental depression and ego-resilience in the middle school girls\' school adaptability, the results show that there are influences of mental depression and ego-resilience in the middle school girls\' school adaptability. Examining the influences between them in the each school grade, there are influences between them. In conclusion, these results imply the importance of mental depression and ego-resilience in the middle school girls\' school adaptability. However, there is a limit to help give girls school adaptability. Through the results of this study, we can find that more schools and societies should pay more attention to develop and reinforce school adaptability and ego-resilience. More programs that stop students from mental depression should also be needed.
