This study observed and interpreted type of questions asked during a teacher’s reading class. Based on the results of preceding researches, this study planed a tool for observing the questions asked during a reading class composed of reading comprehension strategy, level of reading comprehension, and reading comprehension promotion strategy. This study divided reading comprehension into 6 categories including visualizing, connecting, predicting, inferring, summarizing, and identifying contents. Then, this study divided level of reading comprehension into three levels including realistic level, interpretive level, and applying level. In regard to strategy for promoting reading comprehension, this study divided into 12 categories such as focusing, expanding, clarifying, verifying, elaborating, hinting, agreeing, complimenting, waiting, pretending to be indifferent, and sharing responsibility. Then, this study utilized reading comprehension strategy, reading comprehension level, and reading comprehension promotion strategy to analyze the type of questions asked during a teacher’s reading class.
