In the ancient East Asian cultures, as a being between the heaven and the earth, human beings have been trying to find their own identity from the relationship with the heaven. The heaven was a source of dynamic energy that human beings try to return to their original existence. The identity became a moment to develop into the thought of the Unity of Heaven and Man(天人合一). The thought of ancient Chinese Unity of Heaven and Man that was developed from God as dominator recognized the heaven as a moral principle, and from the vertical relationship between human beings and the heaven based on the idea, it was the unity of the heaven and humans premised on downwarding of the heaven. In this paper, by comparing thought of downwarding Unity of Heaven and Man with that of Korean Chondo-gyo, Innaecheon(人乃天), peaceful meaning and practice of Spirituality and the completion was considered through Virtue(德), Dongduk(Companion, 同德), Gaebyeok(the beginning of the new world, 開闢). The idea of the Unity of Heaven and Man of Chondo-gyo developed into the idea of Innaecheon that a human being can become Hanul[天], if a human being finds the heaven in himself and realize it. The thought of Innaecheon can be the spirituality from bottom to top, not from top to bottom. Spirituality from below comes out from Virtue, the Virtue can be embodied through Dongduk, the practice of sharing, which is trying to restore a peaceful relationship. The spirituality of Chondo-gyo is horizontal, from below and earth-centered. It is also the awareness of the earth and horizontality rather than receiving a mandate or revelation. The state that the spirituality of Chondo-gyo is realized is called Gaebyeok, it means also peace. The peace specifically can be harmony of horizontal spirituality and sharing.
