This study was to explore what emotional workers under job stress experienced in the process of art therapy by using textile media, and what the meaning of the experience was. The participants of this study were two people in their 30s working the same company as call center agents of S insurance company and were in the charge of inbounding calls. From February 2019 to April 2019, art therapy was conducted once a week for a total of 10 sessions, and data were collected and interpreted by a narrative inquiry method. Based on the narrative inquiry, the meaning of the experiences obtained from the participants through art therapy by using textile media produced five themes: 'relaxation of emotions through tactile sensation', sense of achievement through works using textile media', 'situation awareness', 'stress management and coping', and 'positive expression in mutual relationships within small group art therapy'. In this study, textile media with various tactile characteristics assisted to relax their emotions, provided them emotional stability, and experienced their stress relief. Based on these research results, the significance and limitations of this study were discussed.
