이 연구에서는 ‘이루지 못한 삶’을 ‘이루어 낸 삶’으로 전환시킨 자기의지적이고 자기 생성적인 주체들의 삶의 이야기들을 전기학습의 관점에서 탐색해보는 것이다. 이 연구 는 내러티브 분석의 한 분야인 개인경험이야기 방법으로 수행되었으며, 연구참여자들은 ‘이루지 못한 삶’을 인생의 제2막에서 실제로 구현해 낸 학습자들이다. 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자기의지적, 자기생성적 주체가 ‘이루지 못한 삶\'을 ‘이루어낸 삶’으 로 구현시키는 것은 온전한 ‘자기’를 찾아 가는 끊임없는 우화(eclosion)의 반복적인 과 정이다. 둘째, 전기학습 과정을 통해 구현하는 온전한 ‘자기’의 실현은 실존주의적이다.
The purpose of this study was to explore the meaning of living the unlived life from the biographical learning perspective. In this study, the researcher dealt with the life stories of 3 research participants who were self-willed and autopoietic. They were the subjects who changed their unlived lifes into the lived lifes. This study used the methodology of personal experience story, which is one type of narrative inquiry. Empirical data were gathered from in-depth interviews and additional resources like newspaper articles or books covered their life stories. The conclusions of the study are as follows: (1) Living the unlived life is the endless repetitive process of eclosion to pursue the whole self. (2) Accomplishing the whole self through biographical learning is existential.
