본 연구는 어머니의 취업유무에 따라 격리불안과 양육죄책감이 양육행동에 미치는 영향이 어떠한지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 12-48개월 영유아의 어머니 209명으로 구성되었 고, 자료를 분석하기 위해 t-test, F-test와 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 격 리불안과 양육죄책감은 취업모와 비취업모 모두의 양육행동에 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 취업모 의 과보호 양육행동에 대해서는 격리불안과 양육죄책감의 상호작용효과 또한 유의미하게 나타났다. 또한 비취업모가 느끼는 양육죄책감은 취업모에 비해 부정적인 양육행동에 미치 는 영향이 더 큰 것으로 나타나. 어머니의 취업유무에 따라 어머니의 심리적 요인이 양육행 동에 미치는 영향이 다르다는 점을 밝혔다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of mother's separation anxiety and parenting guilt feelings upon parenting behaviors among working and non-working mothers. The subjects of this study comprised 209 mothers of 12 to 48 month old children who were attending kindergartens located in Chungbuk. The data thus collected were analyzed by means of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Cronbach's α, t-test, Pearson's correlation, and hierarchical regression analysis using the SPSS 12.0 program. The results of this study were as follows: First, it was found that separation anxiety and parenting guilt feelings had significant effects on their parenting behavior among both nonworking and working mothers. Second, the interaction effects of separation anxiety and parenting guilt feelings were significant on working mothers' over-protective parenting behavior. It is noteworthy that the effects of mother's parenting guilt feelings on negative parenting behaviors was stronger among nonworking mothers than working mothers, which implies that the effect of mother's psychological factors on their parenting behavior may be different according to their employment status.
