The purpose of this study was to examine childcare teachers' view of state,
their view of veterans affairs and any possible differences among them in
teaching behaviors related to the Nuri curriculum according to their view of
state and view of veterans affairs. Childcare teachers exert a crucial influence
on children's values and attitude in early childhood, and it's basically meant in
this study to provide information on how to offer better reeducation involving
on-the-job training for childcare teachers to teach preschoolers to foster their
sense of community toward the nation. Whether there were any differences
among the selected childcare teachers in view of state, view of veterans affairs
and teaching behaviors according to age, academic background, marital status
and career was analyzed, and how their view of state and view of veterans
affairs were linked to their teaching behaviors were analyzed as well. The
findings of the study were as follows: First, when the view of the selected
childcare teachers about state was investigated, the older teachers took a better
view of state, and the married teachers took a better view of state than the
unmarried teachers. Second, when their awareness of veterans affairs and related
behaviors were investigated to find out their view of veterans affairs, there
were no differences in those regards according to age, academic background,
marital status and career. Third, the new national Nuri curriculums for ages 3
to 5 were analyzed to grasp the content of instruction, and then their teaching
behaviors were analyzed in terms of national symbol awareness, awareness of
tradition, historical awareness, pride and aweness of national unification based
on the content of instruction. As a result, those who were better educated and
who were married were found to show more teaching-related behaviors. When
the relationship between their view of state and teaching behaviors related to
the Nuri Curriculums was analyzed, their teaching behaviors were more in
compliance with the Nuri curriculums when they were more loyal to the nation,
when their national symbol awareness was better, when they had more national pride and when they took a better view of state. In contrast, their awareness of
veterans affairs and related behaviors had nothing to do with their teaching
behaviors. Given the findings of the study, the necessity of research in early
childhood teachers including kindergarten teachers, the development of
standardized instruments and the development and spread of teaching materials
were discussed to give some suggestions on future research efforts.pride and when they took a better view of state. In contrast, their awareness of
