This study aims at analyzing the efficiency of business pursuance methods and execution of budgets for projects to improve patriot and veteran rewards in order to continue the spirit of those who sacrificed for or contributed to the nation, and also to search for areas to improve and ways to further develop. Results of the performance analyses of projects to improve patriot and veteran rewards, in terms of the feasibility of the project, it has procured feasibility based on the national and social significance and legal basis for 'patriot and veteran rewards', and it was also found that the method for pursuing the projects were also suitable. It was also possible to present the performance of the project as well. For projects to improve patriot and veteran rewards, the national and social values of 'patriot and veteran rewards' should be open to all citizens. Furthermore, when taking into account that the spirit of loving one's nation was continuously passed down throughout the history of Korea, it should be continuously improved and expanded. For this, the following development plans are proposed. First, it is recommended to gradually expand Patriot Education to all citizens, while establishing a systematic educational order based on the two aspects of school education and social education. Second, its spector should be expanded so that patriot-related history focusing on the independence movement is included throughout the overall history of Korea. Third, in order to allow the patriot culture to become enrooted naturally by working together with the community, existing projects must be upgraded. Fourth, in order to create a synergy effect with consigned projects, role distribution and the construction of a cooperative system is necessary for various civil organizations related to patriotism that perform the consigned projects.
