The present study aims at introducing the reader to Iranian Nationalism in connection with the functions of education in its contemporary history ; the period in which education has facilitated the revival and elevation of such a Nationalism. However, before giving full credit to the pertinent role of education, Iranian Nationalism can not miscalculate the noteworthy influence of historical traditions and cultural forces.
