The education at museum emerges very important value among many other functions of museum. In 2007, education was put in statutory form to functions of museum based on「Museum and Art Gallery Promotion Law」. From this, museum education has been equipped more stable system in terms of policies and supports. On the other hand, as school curriculum has been rearranged into the 9th educational course revision, creative HR-forstering educational courses became a motive to make out of school education possible centered in a wide range of experiences than before. Education at museum which features insight and full-size figure, self-selective traits has direction to match paradigm of public education positively, which is recognized as representative out of school education. Museum education has been often planned to identify-matching directions, centered in data restored at museum. Naturally, specialization has been made which is distinguishable characteristics from regular subject courses. Therefore, children can get out of grave pressure on grades, competition, and educational environment centered in entrance into a school. It has been considered as an alternative education which facilitates creative education that revised 9th education curriculum pursues and aims. Students participate when education is conducted at museum for the purposes of experience study, out of school class in each subject, diverse training, etc. among regular curriculum. However, recently, there are many increasing cases of participation in clubs or parent-leading after school programs. After school programs at national folklore museum and children's museum are representative cases, which show remarkable differentiation from regular education. They are further advanced educational courses. After school museum education is more autonomous and self-leading, a wide range of education possible along with emotionally stable. As reflecting these kinds of its features, the range of after school programs at museum is getting larger and larger gradually. Cultural diversity is one representative education among them. It is recognized the trend of Korea fast-changing from a homogenous country into multi-cultural countries. Reduction of population, avoidance of labor-oriented work, imbalance of gender rate, etc. are becoming a cause to attract other peoples to enter Korea. Active transactions and trading like development of traffic and communication, FTA settlement, etc. faint the meaning of national borders to induce pluralistic globalization. The educational direction that teaches to understand and accept the different cultures is Cultural Diversity Education. It has an important value to live as global citizens responding to changing society actively in social changes changing into globalization in fast speed. There are not many museums which enforce cultural diversity education. The reasons are the lack of relevant systems, insufficient government policies and supports for museum, etc. which are external factors and the lack of staffs exclusively in charge of education and professionalism, inferiority of facilities and operating budget, etc. which are internal factors. In spite of such lacks, the necessity of cultural diversity education has been recognized very grave. If all environments are arranged, it is expected to be promoted greatly. Therefore, museum education as out of school education is expected to accept after school programs actively and continue to expand after school education at museum based on cultural diversity with after school education contents at museum, which is core conclusion of this study.
