This research aims was to find out the hardships experienced by student teachers at practicum, and
to discuss improvement of the student teaching program in the early childhood education. 127 Student
during the teaching internship have written their journals almost every day, which was systematically
analyzed to find out key concepts for the purpose of this research. Major conclusions are suggested
below as follows.
The research shows that 1) student teachers had felt variable hardships to, most of all, carried out
with instructor role at teaching-learning situation. Also, they had felt that conflict a position of learner
about kindergarten and practicum trainer, it was difference between theory at school and practice at
field. In addition to they had a quite private hardships, for example, anxiety and deficient of
self-confidence, the trouble of take a rest and health. ect. 2) student teachers were experienced
hardships differently level and primary factor my period of practicum. First week, they felt the highest
level of hardships, but the latter of the practicum, it was tended the lower.
