The purpose of this study was not only to verify the relationship between web-based physical education
and class satisfaction of elementary school students but also to propose an effective teaching method for
teachers.
To achieve the purpose, 5th, 6th graders of D elementary school students in Daegu were selected as
subjects. They were divided into experimental, controlled group and took P.E classes twice a week from 2010
March to July. Experimental group got web-based P.E classes using internet cafe, photo, video as a feedback
material, but controlled group got normal ones.
The results are as follows.
First, the experimental group participated in the web-based P?E classes showed higher satisfaction in class
operation than the controlled group got a normal ones.
Second, the experimental group participated in the web-based P?E classes showed higher satisfaction in
human relations than the controlled group got a normal ones.
Third, there were no significant differences between the experimental group and controlled group. But
experimental group participated in the web-based P?E classes showed higher satisfaction in content of class
than the controlled group got a normal ones.
Therefore, the web-based P?E class can be a effective way to enhance the satisfaction level of students in
P?E class.
