2003년 Marx가 보고한 이래1,2), bisphosphonate 약물을 사용 중인 환자에서 발생하는 악골괴사(bisphosphonate related osteonecrosis of the jaw)에 대한 수없이 많은 많은 증례들이 보고 되고 있다3-8).
