The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of Self-Growth Creativity Program using creative
thinking technique, on fostering the creativity and creative leadership of adult learners through their
intuitive thinking and self-observation. Accordingly, a program based on the cyclical experience framework
of self-understanding -> self-accommodation -> self-openness, and consisting of sixteen activities - thirteen
creative thinking activities plus three human nature-related activities - has been developed and applied to
adult learning with a view to developing adults' creativity for ‘Self-growth Creativity Program’. As a
result, ‘Self-Growth Creativity Program’, which applies creative thinking technique, has proven to be
effective not only in helping solve in an adult's daily practical problems but also achievements, wonder,
self-confidence, self-efficacy, and self-esteem in addition to interpersonal improvement and psychological
stability. Through this study, it has been proven that ‘Self-Growth Creativity Program’ is an effective tool
in developing adult learners' creativity and creative leadership. From the standpoint of Life-long education,
the program has also proven, by grafting a self-growth program to the existing creative technique
(activities), the program has presented a structure on how creativity and creative leadership development
education can be applied in adults' self-growth programs.
