본 논문은 컴퓨터 과학에서 다루고 있는 기초 알고리즘의 교육을 위해 발견학습을 적용한 교수학습 전략을 제안하였다. 발견학습을 통해 알고리즘 수업을 설계하고 실제 수업에 적용 하여 알고리즘적인 사고력 향상에 효과가 있는지를 알아보았다. 또한 초등학교 학습자들도 컴퓨터 알고리즘 교육이 가능함을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 전략을 적용한 결과 알 고리즘 학습에 대한 아동들의 학업성취도가 향상되었음을 보였다. 본 연구 결과가 현장에 적용된다면 초등학생들에게 논리적인 알고리즘 사고력을 제공할 것으로 기대한다. -
